im fortunate enough that there are drugs that return my life to normal, there are others who arent so fortunate...
but you can laugh at this, yesterday after backing up my pc to my external, windows locked up on me... been about a year and a half or so since ive had to start all over, but such is life...

Hey man, you know I got nothing but sympathy for your plight.
My father in law is 77 years old and completely gone alzheimer way -- the guy can barely form a sentence because he can't remember the simple nouns for the things he wants to say. He was a long distance runner his whole life and when he went into the home two years ago because we couldn't afford in house care 24/7 like he required, he was taking zero medications. What a nightmare that his body was in incredible shape for someone his age but his mind is gone daddy gone.
But in the two years he's been at a couple different homes, he's been in and out of the hospital 8 times. The last time, they kicked him out of the home for pulling his pants down repeatedly -- 'sexual misconduct' they called it. (btw, I learned that if you get kicked out of a senior home with Alzheimer's, they put you i the lockdown psych ward of the nearest hospital.
The hospital tells us he's got scabies, a urinary tract infection and a fungal infection of the groin area -- gee, I don't think he was trying to make it with the old polish nurses at the home!
Anyway, the medical system just grinds you down man -- I'm sure glad people do those jobs but what you got is just the tip of the iceberg....
