1. IcoFX. Very full featured. A little bit of a learning curve but
it's an excellent program. Freeware.

It's over 4 years old and I believe Carles has moved on... but the
icon program is great. It does ARGB icons (32 bit) and you can mix

This group is for VB6 and earlier(VB Classic). VB.Net and all dotnet groups
have either "dotnet" or "vsnet" in the group name. Please use the following
group instead:

What do you folks use to create icons?

Folks
I'm curious as to what tools folks use to create icons. Mostly
because I'd like to have a page on my website with a bit of info on
icons and links to icon editors.
I've been using Icon Edit (a Component of Icon Suite
[link]) which is freeware. It's decent
enough for someone of my very limited/non existent graphic skills.

Eliminate / Hide Title Bar on a form

Is there any way in VB 2008 to hide the Title Bar on a form? I have a
dedicated computer which is going to run only my application. I want to at a
minimum to hide the Min/Max/Close buttons on the title bar, but would
actually prefer to simply not have it at all.

I've read all postings and one question remains:
With DAO and optimistic locking, what will happen
if my Seek finds a match, I use .Edit, perform some
things to collect all data, then use .Update and some
other user has in the short time between .Edit and
.Update deleted this record? Wouldn't I get
No Current Record?

Not from my experience.
My sprites can work on any background, solid or not.
I am not filling the mask image area, just leaving it the same as the sprite.

Hmm,
in your VB6 program you have reverenced something like
EXCEL10.OLB, the excel object library. You may run into
problems when the excel version installed on the target system
is older. A few days ago I upgraded an app on a custumers
system with only Office 97. So I searched on my multi-boot
dev system for EXCEL8.OLB, found it on one of the other
