  +1 @aidanf &lt;br&gt; I also agree that there&#39;s no need to bash recruiters. But I&#39;d add that there &lt;br&gt; IS a need to recognise that recruiters operate within a different incentives &lt;br&gt; scheme to the rest of us. In short, the downside of spamming the group for a &lt;br&gt; recruiter does not necessarily outweigh the upside. &lt;br&gt; If a recruiter were to thoughtlessly spam the group, there&#39;s not much point

  Every post isn&#39;t moderated. Each persons first post is moderated - &lt;br&gt; once their first post is approved they can post whatever they want &lt;br&gt; without it being moderated. &lt;br&gt; Deleting members posts would set a very bad precedent imo. This is &lt;br&gt; supposed to be an open forum - if anyone wants to air their opinion on &lt;br&gt; recruiters or recruitment posts they should be free to do so.

  Recruitement is just another profession, there are good recruiters and bad &lt;br&gt; recruiters....all just doing a job. &lt;br&gt; I praise good recruiters, but I like to educate bad ones about best &lt;br&gt; practices, hence the point of the guidelines they should follow before &lt;br&gt; posting anything! &lt;br&gt; Jonathan

  Recruiter bashing doesn&#39;t solve anything, only makes the recruiters view the &lt;br&gt; group as a whole with disdain despite individual comments. &lt;br&gt; As far as I&#39;m aware every post is moderated anyhow, those types of post &lt;br&gt; wouldn&#39;t even make the list n&#39;est pas? &lt;br&gt; Jonathan

  I can&#39;t see why you&#39;d ban posts which criticise recruiters. If someone has had a bad experience with a particular recruiter, they should be able to share that. If a (lazy) recruiter starts posting jobs for Windows Network Admins or .NET trainers, I&#39;d like to see them get bashed. &lt;br&gt; I don&#39;t mind a few, relevant, job postings but recruiters in general don&#39;t contribute to the group and earn a healthy commission from placing people.
